Intelligence runs through all aspects of Policing and is at the heart of all operational activity from crime prevention, enforcement to effective investigation. We must be Intelligence led to deliver the Beating Crime Plan and all current Strategic policing requirements, it has a significant role to play in our relentless pursuit of offenders and to reduce harm to individuals and communities.
The National Police Chiefs Council Annual Intelligence Conference will take place on the 8 – 9 June 2022 at St Johns, Solihull. The finale of the first day of the conference, will be the launch of the new National Intelligence awards, to celebrate and recognise the exceptional work of individuals from across the Intelligence Community.
In order to be progressive and innovative, utilising and creating evidence-based methodology, working with partners and academia, to provide the most effective Intelligence capability, this conference is a key learning event.
This years event will bring together inspirational, subject matter experts from within the Intelligence Community, which aims to share best practise and learning and provoke innovative thinking and debate. We must ask ourselves are we utilising Intelligence effectively and is Intelligence really at the forefront of UK Policing and across all law enforcement activity?
In order to strengthen partnership collaboration, this event is open to all UK Law enforcement and Government agencies, strategic leads, managers, and practitioners.
