Toll Customs (Tolletaten) and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) – Integrated where beneficial, separated where necessary - This national ANPR capability supports law enforcement, customs control, and vehicle compliance monitoring across Norwegian borders and highways.
Tolletaten regulates vehicle and goods movement at national borders, while NPRA manages vehicle registration, compliance and road-safety enforcement nationwide. Together, they form the backbone of Norway’s digital enforcement and border-defence ecosystem.
