ANPR CONFERENCE 2023: OPTIMISING CAPABILITY

ANPR intelligence plays a significant role in investigation, prevention, and protection across a wide range of crime types and incidents, from strategic national crime priorities, through volume crime to neighbourhood policing.

At this year’s conference, we want to encourage our delegates to think outside the box about how they use ANPR, in terms of their own skills and use but also to reflect on whether ANPR capability is operationally optimised within their organisation.

Day one of this year’s conference, will be practitioner focused, with the spotlight on the effective use of ANPR against national priorities.  Speakers will provide valuable operational insight into their optimisation of ANPR, with two practitioner focused breakouts on day one offering further insight into advanced ANPR practice, with an innovation spotlight on new capability in the pipeline.

Day two will focus on ANPR capability management, with speakers from the Home Office providing national update on the roadmap for the National ANPR Service and presentations from the NPCC ANPR Portfolio on the ANPR capability landscape mapping. The afternoon will provide an opportunity for updates on national projects, as well further innovation, and operational spotlight presentations. There will also be two capability focused breakout sessions on day one, providing a focused opportunity to share innovative capability management practice.

Throughout the conference there will be plenty of opportunity for networking, and the opportunity to engage through interactive panel discussions and breakout sessions, ensuring you leave with plenty of new ideas, inspiration, and contacts to help you to build your professional practice and ANPR capability in force or agency.
